OAU postpones matriculation indefinitely

The management of the prestigious Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Osun State, Monday 7 March 2022, announced the indefinite postponement of the 2021/2022 Matriculation ceremony earlier scheduled for Wednesday, 9th March 2022.

A statement released by the Director, Academic Affairs, Mr. Murtala Agbaje, explained that a new date would be communicated to the general public, especially to the concerned students in due course.

The statement read,

“The University Management has decided to postpone the Matriculation ceremony for the interest of all. We, therefore, apologise for any inconvenience this postponement might have caused.

“Students are, hereby, advised to continue attending their lectures and other academic activities.”
