TASUED Student Sentenced for Impersonation

A Final year student of the Tai Solarin University of Education (TASUED), Ijebu Ode, Ogun State, identified as Amusa Oluwasegunfunmi has been sentenced to 8 months of community service by a Federal High Court, sitting in Osogbo, Osun State for fraud.

The student from the Department of Transport Planning Management TASUED, was convicted together with Ajisafe Olaide, Lawal Morenikeji, Osuolale Abiodun, and Olamilekan Taofeek on Tuesday, June 21 following their arrest by the Economic and Financial Crime Commission (EFCC).

The presiding judge, Justice Ayo-Emmanuel stated that Oluwasegunfunmi is expected to clean the toilets at the Ataoja School of Science, Osogbo, Osun State for eight months as punishment for fraudulent impersonation after pleading guilty.

The Judge further asked that an attendance register be kept for the convict’s community service to be submitted upon completion of the service
