DESY Summer Student Program 2023 In Germany
Applications are invited to apply for DESY Summer Student Program 2023-24 in Germany. DESY is an International Summer Student Program for applicants from all over the globe. This is a Fully Funded Scholarship for International Students in Germany.
The duration of the Internship is 7 weeks, from 18 Jul to 7 Sep 2023. IELTS/TOEFL test score is not required for the program. Students can learn in a diverse environment and the activities will be full of professional experience.

Program Duration:
- The duration of the DESY traineeship 2023 in Germany starts in July and will continue for 7 weeks.
Program Dates:
- The DEST International Summer Student Program will take place from July 18 July to 07 September.
Financial Support:
- 1200 euros monthly as a subsistence allowance is granted to everyone.
- People coming from Hamburg and its surroundings will be able to avail of the subsistence allowance of 850 euros monthly.
- Traveling expenses will be reimbursed for all if you had traveled by plane, train, and car. (Check Please find the regulations in this document.)
Eligibility Criteria:
- Having completed three years of full-time studies at university in physics, computing or relevant disciplines can apply.
- Having obtained their Bachelor’s degree can apply.
- Having obtained their Bachelor’s degree and currently studying for a Master’s degree can apply.
- Should not have availed of the summer program at DESY before.
- Having a good command of English.
- Having good computing skills.
- Should have EU-Conformed Vaccination.
- Should be committed to serving the full period of the program at DESY.
How to Apply?
- Students have to apply through the official website DESY directly.
- Students first need to identify the offered projects and choose their preferences for online or on-site work projects.
- Students residing in Germany can apply for on-site projects.
- Students around the world can apply for online projects.
- Fill in the required fields appropriately and submit the online application.
- Ensure to provide the supporting documents, which are asked from you during filling up the application form.
- Selected students will get an email notifying their selection and will be contacted for their suitability for the preferred projects also.

The following documents should be uploaded in one Pdf file.
- CV of 1 to 2 pages-comprising personal data, relevant experience, educational background, computing skills, and other relevant required skills.
- University grade certificates.
- Applicants from EU or non-EEA countries should upload a valid passport in the English language.
- Two reference letters.
