We will help you network with international future leaders here to find new answers to the global issues of our time. We offer you<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"299\" height=\"169\" src=\"https:\/\/presspay.ng\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/04\/German-Fellowship.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-10044\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>a monthly fellowship grant of 2,000 euros, 2,300 euros or 2,600 euros \u2013 depending on your training and career level<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>an intensive language course before you begin your fellowship and funding for German courses during your fellowship,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>individual support during your stay in Germany<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>additional financial support, e.g. for mobility, for accompanying family members, for travel expenses, for full private health insurance or for additional German language courses<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>joint events where you experience professional and personal intercultural exchange with other fellows from your year group and gain insights into German culture and society,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>networking activities that enable you to collaborate in peer groups and independently organise smaller network formats with other fellows,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>a two-week study tour through Germany as well as a number of events where you can connect with other fellows and meet representatives of German businesses and institutions<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>extensive alumni sponsorship, in particular to support long-term connections with your cooperation partners in Germany over the duration of your entire professional career<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Your host will have a monthly subsidy of \u20ac500 at their disposal for any costs arising while conducting the project.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.humboldt-foundation.de\/en\/apply\/sponsorship-during-your-stay\/sponsorship-during-your-german-chancellor-fellowship\">Information on sponsorship for German Chancellor Fellows during their stay in Germany<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.humboldt-foundation.de\/en\/apply\/alumni-programmes\/alumni-abroad\">Information on sponsorship for alumni abroad<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h5549\">You must meet the following criteria\/What is required of you<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The German Chancellor Fellowship sponsors future decision-makers, multipliers and thought leaders \u2013 regardless of industry. We invite you to apply if you<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>hold Brazilian, Chinese, Indian, South African or American citizenship<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>work in a field such as&nbsp;<strong>politics, business, media, administration, society or culture<\/strong>&nbsp;and have demonstrable initial leadership experience<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>will have completed your first academic degree (Bachelor or comparable degree) no more than twelve years ago. The key date for calculating this twelve-year period&nbsp; is 1 October 2024.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>want to conduct an&nbsp;<strong>independently developed project<\/strong>&nbsp;with a&nbsp;<strong>host&nbsp;<\/strong>of your choice<strong>&nbsp;in Germany<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>have good knowledge of English and\/or German<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.humboldt-foundation.de\/en\/apply\/sponsorship-programmes\/german-chancellor-fellowship\/advice-on-finding-a-host\">Advice on finding a host<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h5551\">How to apply<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Before applying, you should discuss the details of your project with your chosen host.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Please submit the necessary application documents to the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation online only.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>letter of motivation<\/strong>: Tell us what drives you, what leadership experience you already have and what your career goals are<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>project plan<\/strong>: Outline the project you have developed yourself and agreed with your intended host prior to applying. Why is your project of societal significance, and how will you be able to build bridges between Germany and your home country in the future?<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>extensive statement<\/strong>&nbsp;including&nbsp;<strong>mentoring agreement&nbsp;<\/strong>from your host in Germany<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>two letters of recommendation<\/strong>&nbsp;(not more than 12 months old) from individuals who can provide information on your professional, personal and\/or academic background<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The online application form contains links where the letters of recommendation and statements can be uploaded. Please forward these links to the relevant individuals as soon as possible.
