This scholarship is parallel with Malaysia\u2019s aspiration to emerge as one of the global centres of academic excellence by attracting, motivating and retaining talented human capital from abroad.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Scholarship Sponsor(s):&nbsp;<\/strong>Malaysian Government<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Host Institution(s):&nbsp;<\/strong>Higher Institutions in Malaysia<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Scholarship Worth<\/strong><strong>:&nbsp;<\/strong>Full Funding (Amount Stated)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Number of Awards:&nbsp;<\/strong>Several<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Study Level<\/strong>: Postgraduate<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Nationality:\u00a0<\/strong>International Students<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Eligibility Criteria<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Applicants for the Government of Malaysia International Scholarship should be graduates from the recipient countries (see&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/biasiswa.mohe.gov.my\/INTER\/index_guidelines.php\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">guidelines<\/a>) of MIS 2023 who:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>intend to pursue full-time postgraduate studies (Masters\/PhD) in Malaysia; or<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>are currently pursuing full-time postgraduate studies in Malaysian public universities and selected private higher educational institutions.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Additionally; the applicant must meet the following conditions<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Is not more than 40 and 45 years old at the time of application for Master and PhD levels respectively<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Possessing good academic qualifications:\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Masters applicants: obtaining CGPA 3.0 \/ 2nd Class Upper (Honours) or higher at Bachelor\u2019s Degree level;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>PhD applicants: obtaining CGPA 3.0 \/ excellent results at Masters level in course related to the intended study program<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Mastering good proficiency of English Language:\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Obtaining band 6.0 or higher in IELTS; or<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Obtaining a total score of 550 or higher in TOEFL paper-based test (PBT); or<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Has obtained previous degree(s) with English used as the medium of instructions (evidence is a prerequisite).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Submitting a written research proposal with minimum of 1,000 words that is relevant to the intended field of<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Scholarship Benefits<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>This scholarship is limited to tuition fees and monthly living allowance of RM 1,500.00 per month.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Successful applicants are expected to independently arrange their travel to Malaysia (non-financial provisions). Travel expenses will not be provided by the Government of Malaysia.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>All applicants are highly advised to check the expected living expenses in Malaysia.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Application Procedures<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>How-to-Apply:&nbsp;<\/strong>Application for MIS can be accessed on program\u2019s&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/biasiswa.mohe.gov.my\/INTER\/index.php\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">online application system<\/a>.
