{"id":11179,"date":"2023-05-25T10:47:52","date_gmt":"2023-05-25T10:47:52","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/presspay.ng\/news\/?p=11179"},"modified":"2023-05-25T10:47:56","modified_gmt":"2023-05-25T10:47:56","slug":"africa-google-cloud-credits-program-for-female-technology-founders","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/presspay.ng\/news\/africa-google-cloud-credits-program-for-female-technology-founders\/","title":{"rendered":"Africa Google Cloud Credits Program for Female Technology Founders"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The UK-Nigeria Tech Hub and Google for startups Africa have collaborated to support female technology founders with up to $3 million in Google\u00a0Cloud\u00a0Credits.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Program Eligibility Requirements<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>There are two tiers under the Google Cloud Credit Programme; The\u00a0<strong>Start Tier<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0<strong>Scale Tier<\/strong>.<br>You are encouraged to apply even if you do not fall under any of the tiers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">START TIER<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Ideal for beginner enterprises.<br>To qualify for the Start Tier, the female founded enterprise must be:<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>&nbsp;Founded within the last 5 years.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>&nbsp;A technology Startup that is not yet funded by an institutional investor<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>&nbsp;Not yet received Google cloud credits (beyond the free trial)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>*Bonus: Beneficiaries under the Start Tier will be eligible to apply for $100,000 USD credits once $2,000 USD is exhausted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">SCALE TIER<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Ideal for established enterprises.<br>To qualify for the Scale Tier, the female founded Startup must have:<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><ul><li><ul><li>&nbsp;Founded their company within the last 10 years.<\/li><\/ul>&nbsp;<ul><li>&nbsp;Received startup equity funding* from pre-seed to Series A<br>(if Series A, raised within the last 12 months) or common Web3 funding sources.<\/li><li><\/li><\/ul><\/li><\/ul>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>\u00a0Not yet received more than $4,000 in Google Cloud credits.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Programme Benefits<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>All applicants will become members of the UK-Nigeria Tech Hub Female Founders Community<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Start Tier<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Google Cloud and Firebase usage by beneficiary, they will receive:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Up to $2,000 USD in Google Cloud credits, valid for two years<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Scale Tier<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Google Cloud and Firebase usage by beneficiary to cover:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Year 1: 100% up to $100,000 USD in Google Cloud credits in year 1.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Year 2: 20% up to an additional $100,000 USD in Google Cloud credits in year 2.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Visit <a href=\"https:\/\/womeninnovateng.com\/\">https:\/\/womeninnovateng.com\/<\/a> to Apply<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The UK-Nigeria Tech Hub and Google for startups Africa have collaborated to support female technology founders with up to $3<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":1,"featured_media":5050,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"colormag_page_container_layout":"default_layout","colormag_page_sidebar_layout":"default_layout","footnotes":""},"categories":[43],"tags":[],"class_list":["post-11179","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-entrepreneurship"],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v27.4 -
