They\u2019re making all of the key decisions about the 2023 Youth STEM Summit to design an impactful and inclusive global event that empowers youth in STEM to tackle the world\u2019s biggest challenges.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We\u2019re looking for a diverse team of young people (age 13-24), who each have <strong>different skills and strengths<\/strong>. Whether you\u2019re good at planning and organising, can use social media like a pro, want a new opportunity to use your video editing skills, care about creating an inclusive and accessible event, or just want to share your ideas as part of a team, we\u2019d love to receive your application!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This could be the perfect opportunity for you if you are\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>\u2705 <strong>Passionate about our <\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.youthstem2030.org\/about\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>mission<\/strong><\/a> of empowering youth to use STEM to tackle global challenges<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u2705 <strong>Enthusiastic to learn and grow your skills<\/strong> &#8211; no previous experience organising events is needed to apply<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u2705 <strong>Ready to challenge yourself and go out of your comfort zone<\/strong> &#8211; organising a global event is no small task, but you\u2019ll have plenty of support from our team!<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u2705 <strong>Based anywhere globally<\/strong> &#8211; our team works together 100% remotely<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u2705 <strong>Aged 13-24<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u2705 <strong>Able to commit to ~4-5 hours per week from June-October 2023<\/strong>, and committed to getting involved in all aspects of the Youth STEM Summit Design Team<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h1 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>What\u2019s Involved<\/strong><\/h1>\n\n\n\n<p>The Design Team will work together to create the Youth STEM Summit as an impactful and inclusive 1-day virtual event that empowers youth globally with the skills, networks and tools they need to take action as STEM changemakers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You\u2019ll be making the decisions and involved in every step of the process of creating a global virtual event\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\ud83d\udc4b <strong>Meet the Design Team<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Get to know other members of the Design Team, learn about each other\u2019s strengths, cultures &amp; experiences and decide how you\u2019ll work together.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\ud83d\udca1 <strong>Design the Summit<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Brainstorm, share your ideas and make all of the key decisions, from the schedule, to speakers, to promoting the event, to attendee engagement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\ud83d\udd28 <strong>Build the Summit<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Pick your best ideas and start taking action to build an awesome Summit &#8211; expect to learn lots of new skills along the way!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\u26a1\ufe0f<strong>Youth STEM Summit<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Welcome hundreds of youth from around the world to the Youth STEM Summit!
