This includes knowledge generation and dissemination, design of global and country policies, and the building of institutions to achieve inclusive growth in developing countries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>While benefitting from research and innovation in multiple sectors, fellows will also work on research, economic policy, technical assistance, and lending operations that contribute to the World Bank\u2019s goal of eliminating poverty and increasing shared prosperity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Eligibility Criteria<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>To be eligible for the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/studygreen.info\/world-bank-group-africa-fellowship-program-for-young-african-graduates-fully-funded\/\"><strong>World Bank Group Africa Fellowship Program for Young African Graduates<\/strong><\/a>, applicants are expected to meet the following conditions:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Applicants must be a recent Ph.D. graduate (within three years of completion) or be enrolled in the last year of the Ph.D. program.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Applicants must have an excellent command of English, both written and verbal.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Possess strong quantitative and analytical skills.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Be under the age of 32&nbsp;by the closing of the application period.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Fellowship Benefits<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Successful applicants selected for the&nbsp;<strong>World Bank Group Africa Fellowship Program&nbsp;<\/strong>will receive the following benefits:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Fellows are eligible to receive consultant fees and<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Round-trip economy class air travel to Washington, D.C. or a<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>WBG country office from their university or institution.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Selection Process<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Phase I:&nbsp;A short-list of candidates will be made available for hire to the different units of the WBG depending on the applicants\u2019 specialization. Applicants will be notified about the status of their application or whether they have been shortlisted or not.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Phase II:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The final list of fellows&nbsp;will be selected in consultation with the various units of the WBG. When the selection is complete, all shortlisted candidates will be informed of their selection status.
