{"id":11733,"date":"2023-06-09T14:12:41","date_gmt":"2023-06-09T14:12:41","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/presspay.ng\/news\/?p=11733"},"modified":"2023-06-09T14:12:45","modified_gmt":"2023-06-09T14:12:45","slug":"the-allen-institute-for-artificial-intelligence-ai2-conservation-tech-award","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/presspay.ng\/news\/the-allen-institute-for-artificial-intelligence-ai2-conservation-tech-award\/","title":{"rendered":"The Allen Institute for Artificial Intelligence\u00a0(AI2) Conservation Tech Award"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/allenai.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">The Allen Institute for Artificial Intelligence<\/a>\u00a0(AI2)\u2019s EarthRanger program is committed to helping protected areas and conservation organizations safeguard wildlife and their habitats through the advancement of technology.\u00a0<br><br>AI2 seeks to provide two (2) grants, each in the amount of <strong><em>$15,000 USD<\/em><\/strong>, to organizations that deployed or developed technology to make a positive impact in conservation management, including but not limited to, the security of endangered animals, animal behavioral research, anti-poaching enforcement, ecological management, and human-wildlife coexistence:<br>\u200d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>\u200d<strong>Technology Adopter Grant: this grant is for an organization that&nbsp;adopted technology in new or novel ways for conservation management.<br><\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Technology Practitioner Grant: this grant is for an organization that developed technology (e.g., software, applications, AI models\/algorithms, hardware) to advance conservation management.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/assets-global.website-files.com\/61a93c4da07e4e6975c3f2b2\/62accc8531167c63a888f5f9_CTA_Color_logo.png\" srcset=\"https:\/\/assets-global.website-files.com\/61a93c4da07e4e6975c3f2b2\/62accc8531167c63a888f5f9_CTA_Color_logo-p-500.png 500w, https:\/\/assets-global.website-files.com\/61a93c4da07e4e6975c3f2b2\/62accc8531167c63a888f5f9_CTA_Color_logo.png 600w\" alt=\"Conservation Technology Award Logo with Black Rhino\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br>Both EarthRanger users and non-users are welcome to apply for either grant.
