The University of Calgary is pleased to offer this award and many others to encourage international participation in the institution.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Scholarship Sponsor(s):&nbsp;<\/strong>University of Calgary<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Host Institution(s):&nbsp;<\/strong>University of Calgary\/Enrolment Services<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Scholarship Worth<\/strong><strong>:&nbsp;<\/strong>$20,000 (Renewable x4)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Number of Awards:&nbsp;<\/strong>2<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Study Level<\/strong>: Undergraduate<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Nationality:\u00a0<\/strong>International Students<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Eligibility\/Description<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Offered annually to undergraduate international students entering first year in any undergraduate degree in the upcoming fall term who have satisfied the university\u2019s English Language Proficiency requirement.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Renewable in the second, third and fourth year at the University of Calgary, provided recipients achieve a GPA of 2.60 or more over a minimum of 24.00 units in the previous fall and winter terms and continue to pay an international differential tuition fee as an international student.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>International students who are required to pay a differential fee and who are not Canadian citizens or Permanent Residents of Canada<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Academic merit will be the major consideration in selection of candidates.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Scholarship Benefits<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The scholarship recipients receive the award in the value of $20,000 per annum, renewable every on the basis of maintaining same academic performance.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Application Procedures<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>How to Apply<\/strong>: This is an entrance scholarship; hence the intending applicants need to first&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ucalgary.ca\/registrar\/registration\/how-register\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">apply<\/a>&nbsp;for study place at the university to be given a conditional or an unconditional offer of admission.
