It is designed to inspire, support and partner African Fintechs, with an aim to expand the reach of innovative Fintech and banking related products.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Ecobank Fintech Challenge identifies and partners Fintechs that are ready to scale and provides them with support and access to opportunities in Ecobank\u2019s 35 African markets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The goal is to contribute to their growth as potential Pan African Fintech success stories.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Summary<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Host: Ecobank Fintech<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Category:&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/scholarshipregion.com\/category\/scholarships\/competitions\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Competitions<\/a>&nbsp;|&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/scholarshipregion.com\/category\/scholarships\/fellowships\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Fellowships<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Eligible Countries: All African Countries&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Reward: $15,000 Cash Prize<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Details:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The Ecobank Fintech Challenge identifies and partners Fintechs that are ready to scale and provides them with support and access to Ecobank\u2019s 33 African markets so they can grow to become true Pan African Fintech success stories.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Requirements:<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>To be considered for the challenge, you must meet the following requirements :<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>All Fintechs with an Africa-Focused or Africa relevant product are eligible to apply to the fintech challenge.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>These products must address one or more of a specific set of pain points:\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Customer experience<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Financial inclusion<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Credit scoring<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ecosystem Aggregation<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Internal tools<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Payments<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Any other relevant product categories<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Duration and Reward<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Become a finalist; get inducted as an Ecobank Fintech Fellow and stand a chance to explore the following opportunities:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Once in a lifetime opportunity to pursue integration with Ecobank and potentially launch products in Ecobank\u2019s over 30 markets across Africa.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The top three winners at the Challenge will be awarded $15,000, $12,000 and $10,000 cash prizes respectively.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Start-ups may be selected by Ecobank as local country-level partner in any of Ecobank\u2019s 33 country ecosystem.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Fellows will be given access to a dedicated team to support Ecobank\u2019s API tests, to enable Ecobank improve their products for the pan-African market.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Founders will be inducted as Ecobank Fintech Fellows, granting them access and relationships to a vast network of global and African Accelerators, potential Investors, as well as mentors.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The Challenge offers opportunities for Fintechs to potentially integrate with Ecobank\u2019s existing digital offerings.
