Students who are not eligible to file a&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/ofas.uci.edu\/scholarships\/uci-scholarship-central\/applying-for-scholarships.php\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">FAFSA<\/a>&nbsp;and qualify for the AB 540 fee exemption waiver must submit&nbsp;a&nbsp;&nbsp;California&nbsp;Dream Act application&nbsp;in order to&nbsp;qualify for&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/ofas.uci.edu\/scholarships\/uci-scholarship-central\/applying-for-scholarships.php\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">need-based<\/a>&nbsp;scholarships.
