If so, you may be interested in the the World Bank\u2019s JPA program.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Summary<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Host: World Bank<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Category: &nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/scholarshipregion.com\/category\/scholarships\/internships\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Internships<\/a>&nbsp;|&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/scholarshipregion.com\/category\/scholarships\/training\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Training<\/a>&nbsp;|&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/scholarshipregion.com\/category\/scholarships\/fellowships\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Fellowships<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Eligible Countries: All Countries&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Reward: Full Sponsorship | Monthly Stipends&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Details:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>In your JPA assignment, you\u2019ll use your strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills, your knowledge of technology and your research abilities \u2013 working with more senior colleagues and project teams in their work both in operations and in corporate functions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You\u2019ll have an opportunity to hone your skills and acquire new ones while gaining first-hand exposure to the challenges of reducing poverty and boosting shared prosperity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Your experience as a JPA may be used as a steppingstone to a career in government, consulting, the private sector, academia or other development agencies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Requirements:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The following are minimum requirements to be eligible for the JPA program:&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Be 28 years of age or younger on your first day of service<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Hold the equivalent of a Bachelor\u2019s degree with a superior academic record<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Be fluent in English<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>One or more of the Bank\u2019s working languages is a plus: Arabic, Chinese, French, Portuguese, Russian, and Spanish<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Since this employment program is highly competitive, applicants under active consideration for employment may be asked to submit academic records as well as references. The World Bank will contact only those applicants whom hiring managers wish to interview.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Duration and Reward<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Positions may be located in any of the World Bank\u2019s offices across the world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A JPA assignment is not an entry point for a career at the World Bank and employment beyond the two-year contract will be prohibited for a period of two years after the end of the contract. However, some former JPAs may rejoin the organization later in their careers after gaining experience elsewhere and becoming experts in their professional fields.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Recruitment and hiring for this employment category is ongoing throughout the year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Method of Application<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Interested candidates may apply online. Please note that applications will be kept active in our database for a period of six months.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Should you still be interested in JPA program after six months, you will need to re-apply. Only those identified for an assignment will be contacted to discuss their interest and availability.
