{"id":13860,"date":"2023-08-17T16:05:22","date_gmt":"2023-08-17T16:05:22","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/presspay.ng\/news\/?p=13860"},"modified":"2023-08-17T16:05:25","modified_gmt":"2023-08-17T16:05:25","slug":"nbte-announces-hnd-to-bsc-online-conversion-programme","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/presspay.ng\/news\/nbte-announces-hnd-to-bsc-online-conversion-programme\/","title":{"rendered":"NBTE announces HND to BSc online conversion programme"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"has-drop-cap\">The National Board for Technical Education (NBTE) has announced an online programme for Higher National Diploma (HND) holders to convert their certification to bachelor\u2019s degree (BA\/BSc) via online one year top-up with foreign accredited universities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Fatima Abubakar, head of media unit of NBTE disclosed this through a statement made available to newsmen in Abuja Monday on behalf of the board.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Abubakar said this was also to facilitate the progression of HND holders to higher degrees.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to the information from the board holders of HND can convert their certificates to BSc degree through the NBTE\u2019s one-year programme by taking the following steps:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The individual must ensure he\/ she owns a HND certificate in one of the recognised and approved polytechnics and monotechnics.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The concerned candidate is to visit the admission portal\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/admission.topup.nbte.gov.ng\/\">https:\/\/admission.topup.nbte.gov.ng<\/a>\u00a0and log in if you have already created an account.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Then he\/she must supply all the required details in relation to his\/her HND which he\/she already have.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Furthermore, the candidate is required to create an account, and then move ahead to submission of a new application.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He\/she must ensure that the university\u2019s programmes chosen aligns with the technical and vocational fields covered by NBTE.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>After selecting a course of one\u2019s choice, the candidate will get the option to select which institute he\/she want to study at and there he\/she can see their programme fees followed by a button to even view details about the institute on their institutional profile page.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>After submitting the form candidate will see the application status under the \u2018my applications\u2019 tab and he\/she can go ahead with the submission of the form fees (USD 100) to enable the university to start processing your admission.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Interested candidate can further go to the payments tab to download his\/her fees receipt for the application form fee payment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>After the university has approved his\/her admission, then he\/she can go to my application and download your admission letter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Source: Businessday.ng<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The National Board for Technical Education (NBTE) has announced an online programme for Higher National Diploma (HND) holders to convert<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":1,"featured_media":8008,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"colormag_page_container_layout":"default_layout","colormag_page_sidebar_layout":"default_layout","footnotes":""},"categories":[49,45],"tags":[],"class_list":["post-13860","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-education","category-latest-news"],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v27.4 -
