In Nigeria, very few celebrities bother to further their education after their first degree, but here are a few of them who decided to spend a little more time on their books to become masters degree holders.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Naetochukwu Chikwe<\/em><\/strong>, stage name Naeto C<\/strong><\/em>, is a Nigerian<\/a> rapper, Afrobeat artist and record producer. He was born in Houston, Texas and is of Nigerian origin. He is the only Nigerian rapper with an MSc. In 2010 Naeto pursued a MSc in Energy Studies at the University of Dundee in Scotland<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    2. Innocent\u00a0Ujah Idibia<\/a><\/em><\/strong>\u00a0professionally known as 2face<\/em><\/strong> is the latest among all the names on this list to get an MSc. He holds a Master of Arts in Music degree. The 40-year-old singer was presented with the honourary degree at Igbinedion University, Okada,\u00a0Benin<\/a>\u00a0on May 10, 2016 courtesy of the Esama of Benin Kingdom and founder of the university,\u00a0Gabriel Igbinedion<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    3. Hafiz Oyetoro<\/strong> popularly known as Saka<\/em><\/strong>. He is a comedian and theatre arts practitioner. He was born in Adegbola town of Iseyin Local Government Area, Oyo State, Nigeria. His parents had eight children and he is the fifth child in the group. University, Osun State, where he studied Theatre Arts and also earned a Master\u2019s degree in Theatre Arts with specialisation in African Dance at the University of Ibadan, Oyo State.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    4. Damilola Afolabi<\/strong> professionally know as L.A.X born in Lagos in 1993 and is the son of Taiwo Afolabi, the billionaire boss of Sifax Group which boasts a number of companies in diverse areas of the Nigerian economy. He attended the Turkish International School, Lagos. L.A.X holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Salford University, Manchester as well as a master\u2019s degree from same institution.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    5. Florence Ifeoluwa Otedola<\/em><\/strong>, also known as DJ Cuppy<\/strong><\/em>, is a Nigerian music producer, DJ and the daughter of Nigerian billionaire Femi Otedola.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    FDJ Cuppy went to London for her GCSE\u2019s and A-Levels. Cuppy graduated from King\u2019s College London in July 2014 with a degree in Business and Economics.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    She has bagged a Masters Degree in Music Business from New York University, and interestingly, she graduates today.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    6. Femi Adebayo<\/strong><\/em> a popular actor and lawyer, is one of the most respected Yoruba actors in Nollywood today.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    The Ilorin born actor is one of the few people who do Yoruba movies that bothered to obtain a masters degree to boost their academic profile. He attended the University of Ilorin where he obtained a bachelor\u2019s degree in Law and a Master of Arts (M. A) degree in Theatre Art.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    7. Ebuka Obi-Uchendu<\/em><\/strong> is a Nigerian lawyer and media personality from Okija in Anambra State, Nigeria. He had his secondary education at Christ The King College Abuja, graduating in 1997, before getting his university education at the University of Abuja, up until 2004.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    He proceeded to the Nigerian Law School Bwari, Abuja finishing in 2005 and then returned to school after a 5 year working gap, graduating in December 2010 from the Washington College of Law of the American University Washington DC, with<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Master of Laws degree specializations in Intellectual Property as well as Communications law from the Law and Government program. He is the anchor of Rubbin\u2019 Minds, a popular TV talk-show.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    8. Folake Folarin-Coker<\/em><\/strong> is a Nigerian fashion designer and creative director of Tiffany Amber.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Folake was born in Lagos, Nigeria in 1974.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    After her education in Switzerland and the United Kingdom, She earned a postgraduate degree in petroleum law and returned to Nigeria to pursue her fashion interests.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    9. Lanre Dabiri,<\/em><\/strong> better known by his stage name Eldee<\/em><\/strong>, stylized as eLDee, is a Nigerian rapper, record producer and architect.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    He is an architect with a Masters Degree.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    10. Sola Fosudo<\/em><\/strong> is a Nigerian prolific dramatist, scholar, critic, film actor and director.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    He was trained as a dramatist at Obafemi Awolowo University and University of Ibadan where he obtained a Master of Art degree in drama. He has featured and directed several Nigerian films.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
