The scholarships are available for both full-time undergraduate and research students.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Kaohsiung Medical University is a private medical university in Taiwan which offer courses cutting across a number of disciplines from medicine to pharmacy, nursing, health sciences and life sciences. The school awards scholarships for eligible prospective degree students who are pursuing their undergraduate, masters and PhD program.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Scholarship Sponsor(s):<\/strong>&nbsp;Kaohsiung Medical University (KMU), Taiwan<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Host Institution(s):<\/strong>&nbsp;Kaohsiung Medical University (KMU), Taiwan<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Scholarship Worth:<\/strong>&nbsp;NTD 200,000~260,000<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Number of Awards:&nbsp;<\/strong>Several<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Study Level:<\/strong>&nbsp;Undergraduates &amp; Postgraduates<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Nationality:<\/strong>\u00a0International Students<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Details<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Applicants who possess a non-R.O.C. nationality shall meet the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/law.moj.gov.tw\/ENG\/LawClass\/LawAll.aspx?pcode=H0110001\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><em>Regulations Regarding International Students Undertaking Studies in Taiwan<\/em><\/a>&nbsp;(Ministry of Education).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Every type of stipend includes different allowance as:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Type A: NTD 200,000~260,000 per year (monthly stipend, accommodation coverage and tuition fee are included)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Type B: NTD 80,000~140,000 per year (accommodation coverage and tuition fee are included)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Type C: NTD 70,000~80,000 per year (tuition fee)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Undergraduate students can only apply for Type C, Master\u2019s students can apply for Type B and Type C, Ph.D. students can apply for all types of the scholarship. Failure to follow the instructions above may affect the result of application.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Eligibility Criteria<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>To be eligible for&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.kmu.edu.tw\/index.php\/en-gb\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Kaohsiung Medical University<\/a>&nbsp;(KMU) Scholarships for International Students, applicants are expected to meet the following conditions:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Applicants must be international students<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Undergraduate Program<\/strong>: A senior high school diploma acquired from an overseas senior high school or a foreign or bilingual school in Taiwan, or document of equivalent educational level shall be recognized by M.O.E. and verified by R.O.C. representative office.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>School of Post-Baccalaureate Medicine: A Bachelor\u2019s degree or higher obtained from a university or an independent college recognized by M.O.E. should be verified by R.O.C. representative office. Should the applicant has completed the study in accordance with the provisions of Article 4, Paragraph 1 of the Regulations Regarding International Students Undertaking Studies in Taiwan, a certificate of \u201cbeing enrolled via International Students Admission Channel in a bachelor\u2019s degree program or higher\u201d is required.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Master\u2019s Program<\/strong>: A Bachelor\u2019s degree or higher obtained from a university or an independent college recognized by M.O.E., or document of equivalent educational level should be verified by R.O.C. representative office. Register for personal account. Applicants may apply for up to 3 programs. Application without online registration will not be accepted.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Read carefully the Declaration and agree the terms of application. Please be informed that if any required fields on the application form is blank, it will not be saved successfully.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Upload all required files and submit application fee (applicants of School of Post-Baccalaureate Medicine only).
