The IMC includes an Innovators Challenge, where young innovators nationwide can showcase their original technology-driven ideas and products. The challenge culminates in an Innovators Boot Camp, where 20 selected participants will receive guidance and mentorship from industry experts. The best participants from the boot camp will present their ideas at the Innovators Conference and Exhibition, competing for cash prizes to support their innovative ventures.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>WHY IMC?&nbsp;<\/strong><\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p>The Innovation Makers\u2019 Challenge aims to empower and provide support to young Nigerians who bring forth innovative solutions with a beneficial impact on society.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Eligibility Criteria:<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The Innovation Makers\u2019 Challenge is open to young innovators who meet the following criteria:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>You are between the ages of&nbsp;<strong>18 and 35<\/strong>&nbsp;on or before the application deadline.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Have innovative solutions in the following categories;&nbsp;<strong><em>Assistive Tech, EnergyTech, AgroTech, Waste Management\/Climate Innovation, EdTech (<\/em><\/strong><strong>including<\/strong><strong><em>&nbsp;Gaming apps\/innovation), Fintech.<\/em><\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Can commit to attending the Innovation Conference and Exhibition in&nbsp;Lagos, Nigeria&nbsp;on the&nbsp;<strong>9<\/strong><strong>th<\/strong><strong>&nbsp;of November 2023.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Innovations must be made by an individual or a team of not more than&nbsp;<strong>five (5)<\/strong>&nbsp;individuals.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Innovations must be original and unique.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Benefits<\/strong>:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Win your share of the 3.5 million Naira cash prize.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Get trained by industry experts at the Innovators\u2019 Bootcamp.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Gain an opportunity to exhibit your innovations and pitch to Investors, Venture Capitalists, C-Suite Executives, and Industry Experts.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Gain visibility through traditional and digital media coverage.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Network with other Innovators, Tech Enthusiasts, Industry Experts, and so on.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Application Timeline:<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Application Opens:&nbsp;<\/strong>11th&nbsp;September 2023<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Application Closes:&nbsp;<\/strong>16th&nbsp;October 2023<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Review of Entries:&nbsp;<\/strong>17th&nbsp;\u2013 26th&nbsp;October 2023<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Notification of Applicants on Their Status:&nbsp;<\/strong>26th&nbsp;October 2023<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Commencement of Bootcamp:&nbsp;<\/strong>2nd&nbsp;November 2023<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Conference and Exhibition:&nbsp;<\/strong>9th&nbsp;November 2023<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Selection Process:<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>All interested individuals are encouraged to apply for the Innovation Makers Challenge by&nbsp;<strong>submitting their entries<\/strong>.
