The call for applications for Belgium Government Masters and Training Programmes (ARES) Scholarships for the academic year 2024-2025 is now open.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Scholarships for\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/studygreen.info\/category\/scholarship-links\/by-study-level\/masters-scholarships\/\"><strong>masters<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/studygreen.info\/category\/internships\/\"><strong>training courses<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0offer you the chance to pursue a one-year specialised master\u2019s degree programme or a 4-to-6-month advanced\u00a0training course within a higher education institution of the Wallonia-Brussels Federation, Belgium.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Scholarship Sponsor(s):<\/strong>&nbsp;Belgium Government<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Scholarship to be taken at:&nbsp;<\/strong>Higher education institutions in Belgium<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Scholarship Type<\/strong>: Full Scholarships<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Scholarship level<\/strong>: Postgraduate<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Scholarship Slots:&nbsp;<\/strong>200<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Nationality:&nbsp;<\/strong>Students of Developing Countries<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Eligibility Criteria<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>For a request to be valid, the applicant must:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>To be eligible, applicants must be residing and working in their country of origin when they apply;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Be national, reside and work<\/strong>&nbsp;in one of the following countries: Benin, Bolivia, Burkina Faso, Burundi, Cambodia, Cameroon, Cuba, Democratic Republic of Congo, Ecuador, Ethiopia, Haiti, Indonesia, Kenya, Madagascar, Morocco, Mozambique, Nepal, Niger, Peru, Philippines, Republic of Guinea (Conakry), Rwanda, Senegal, South Africa, Tanzania, Tunisia, Uganda, Vietnam and Zimbabwe.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Hold a diploma<\/strong>&nbsp;comparable to a graduate level degree (300 credits ECTS) from Belgian university studies for advanced masters and countinuing education courses (equivalent to Bac+5); Hold a diploma comparable to a undergraduate level degree (180 credits ECTS) for advanced bachelors (equivalent to Bac+3).&nbsp;The candidate must have held the relevant academic degree for a maximum of 20 years at the time of the start of the course. This maximum period is increased by one year by childbirth and\/or adoption.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Possess&nbsp;<strong>relevant professional experience<\/strong>&nbsp;in a ARES partner country&nbsp;<strong>of at least two years&nbsp;<\/strong>after graduate studies for advanced bachelors, after postgraduate studies for advanced masters and countinuing education courses.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Complete the application<strong>&nbsp;in the language in which the training is given<\/strong>&nbsp;and can attest a good written and spoken knowledge of it. Applying for an ARES grant is totally free. ARES does not charge fees at any stage of the application or selection process. Interested applicants should follow the steps (below) to apply.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Please note that the application procedure is now online via the GIRAF platform.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>First, you need to&nbsp;<strong>create a GIRAF account<\/strong>&nbsp;by clicking&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/giraf.ares-ac.be\/en\/24_25_formation%20internationale\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">here<\/a>. Your account will be validated (within a few hours to a few days) and you will receive a confirmation mail.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Once your account has been validated, you can access the application form via the&nbsp;<em>Competitive calls<\/em>&nbsp;tab of your GIRAF profile. Please note that you only have to click once on the \u201cStart an application for masters and training programmes\u201d button in GIRAF. You will then find your application form in the&nbsp;<strong>My tasks<\/strong>&nbsp;table of the&nbsp;<em>Competitive calls<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You can complete your form in several times, as long as you use the \u201cSave and edit later\u201d option. You will find your form each time in the&nbsp;<strong>My Tasks<\/strong>&nbsp;table of the&nbsp;<em>Competitive calls<\/em>&nbsp;tab in GIRAF.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>As soon as you click on \u201cSubmit my application\u201d, your file is transmitted to ARES and you can no longer modify it. You can still consult it in the&nbsp;<strong>My Submitted Files<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Application files will not be considered if they (are):<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>incomplete;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>sent in by post, e-mail or fax.
