{"id":15288,"date":"2023-10-05T16:03:45","date_gmt":"2023-10-05T16:03:45","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/presspay.ng\/news\/?p=15288"},"modified":"2023-10-05T16:03:48","modified_gmt":"2023-10-05T16:03:48","slug":"2024-sciences-po-emile-boutmy-scholarships-for-international-students","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/presspay.ng\/news\/2024-sciences-po-emile-boutmy-scholarships-for-international-students\/","title":{"rendered":"2024 Sciences Po \u00c9mile Boutmy Scholarships For International Students"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>About<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Sciences Po \u00c9mile Boutmy Scholarships is awarded to top students whose profiles match the admissions priorities of Sciences Po and individual course requirements.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Emile Boutmy scholarship fund benefits from the generous support of its sponsors (benefactors, companies and foundations) who are eager to allow the most deserving international students to study to at Sciences Po.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Private sponsors can be in direct contact with scholarship holders during official organized events.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Requirements:<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Swiss and Norwegian applicants, since they may be entitled to CROUS scholarships<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Candidates who have dual citizenship, including an EU citizenship<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Candidates from Quebec for master\u2019s degree (since they may take advantage of sliding scale fees same as European applicants). Candidates from Quebec for a bachelor\u2019s degree are eligible<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Master\u2019s level dual-degree candidates. Only applicants for the following dual degrees are eligible:\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>the dual degree in Journalism Sciences Po\/Columbia University<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>the dual degree Sciences Po\/Fudan University with the concentration Europe-Asia in Global Affairs (only applicants with Chinese nationality)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>the dual degree Sciences Po\/Peking University (only applicants with Chinese nationality)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ph.D. programme students (thesis)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Candidates for the 1 year Master\u2019s programmes<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Bachelor dual degree candidates (unless as part of a specific agreement)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Exchange students<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Candidates applying via the French graduate admission procedure<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Duration and Reward<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>BACHELOR\u2019S DEGREE PROGRAMME \u2013&nbsp;The \u00c9mile Boutmy scholarship is&nbsp;<strong>awarded to students arriving at Sciences Po for their first year of studies<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The \u00c9mile Boutmy programme can take several&nbsp;<strong>different forms<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>A tuition grant of \u20ac14,210 per year for the three years of the undergraduate programme.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>A tuition grant of \u20ac9,500 per year for the three years of the undergraduate programme.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>A tuition grant of \u20ac6,500 per year for the three years of the undergraduate programme.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>A tuition grant of \u20ac3,900 per year for the three years of the undergraduate programme.&nbsp;<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>If you do not validate your academic year, your scholarship will be lost.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you have been granted a scholarship and decide to defer your admission, your scholarship will be lost.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>During the year abroad (third year of the undergraduate programme)<\/strong>: scholarship recipients will retain their tuition fee grant.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The \u00c9mile Boutmy scholarship is automatically renewed if the student chooses to continue their graduate studies at Sciences Po <strong>application<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>MASTERS LEVEL<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The \u00c9mile Boutmy scholarship is&nbsp;<strong>awarded to students arriving at Sciences Po for their first year of study<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The \u00c9mile Boutmy programme is a&nbsp;<strong>tuition grant of \u20ac13,100 (amount granted in 2023, the 2024 amount is yet to be confirmed) per year, for each year, which covers part of the tuition fees for the two years of the Master\u2019s degree programme.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00c9mile Boutmy scholarship holders already at Sciences Po : the amount awarded through the scholarship is determined at the time of admission.
