10 years ago, LEAP Africa<\/strong> found an existent gap in the entrepreneurial capacity of young change-makers to build sustainable enterprises and decided to accept responsibility for corrective action. Whereas young Africans have been largely labeled as unproductive and lazy in some cases, seeking immediate gratification, we have enjoyed the privilege of engaging in incredible solutions built by African innovators addressing real problems within their communities. To LEAP Africa, this growing minority represented (and still represents) the future of Africa \u2013 a transformed continent through transformative leaders.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

What To Expect<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Young innovators were given the platform to showcase their solutions while they learned valuable skills required to scale their enterprises. The Social Innovators Program is a platform that has remained committed to building the capacity of early to mid-stage entrepreneurs whose focus is largely social impact. The program honors young change-makers by equipping and empowering them with the necessary skills and resources for establishing long-term social enterprises.
