{"id":15494,"date":"2023-10-12T12:29:38","date_gmt":"2023-10-12T12:29:38","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/presspay.ng\/news\/?p=15494"},"modified":"2023-10-12T12:29:41","modified_gmt":"2023-10-12T12:29:41","slug":"2024-university-of-california-berkeley-scholarship-for-african-students","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/presspay.ng\/news\/2024-university-of-california-berkeley-scholarship-for-african-students\/","title":{"rendered":"2024 University Of California Berkeley Scholarship For African Students"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>About<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The University Of California Berkeley Scholarship For African Students aims to encourage enrollment of students from Africa seeking advanced legal education.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Due to the extremely limited funds, the African Legal Impact Scholarship can only be provided to two outstanding applicants each year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Requirements<\/strong>:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Citizenship or primary residence in Africa<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Academic merit<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A Statement of Intention describing what the scholarship recipient plans on accomplishing in Africa after graduating from the LL.M. executive track.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Recipients must maintain a minimum grade standard of \u2018P\u2019 (pass) or higher in all classes during the first semester in order to maintain scholarship eligibility during the second semester, and students who begin the program in spring must also maintain the minimum grade standard during the second semester to maintain scholarship eligibility during the third semester.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Students must be admitted to the LL.M. executive track program&nbsp;<em>before<\/em>&nbsp;they can apply for this scholarship.&nbsp;Scholarship application instructions will be provided to eligible admitted students.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Duration and Reward<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>This is a full-tuition waiver.
