Tropical Medicine (LSHTM) and the\u00a0<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/publichealth.ug.edu.gh\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">University of Ghana School of Public Health (UGSPH)<\/a><\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/publichealth.ug.edu.gh\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>.<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This scholarship opportunity fund aims to contribute to strengthening sexual and reproductive health in sub-Saharan Africa.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Application Deadline:\u00a0<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>May 17, 2022<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Eligible Countries:\u00a0<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Sub-Saharan Africa<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Type:\u00a0<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Masters<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Number of Awards:\u00a0<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>39<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Duration of Awards:\u00a0<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>12 months full-time or 24-36 months part-time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Eligibility:&nbsp;<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Applicants must be nationals of, and&nbsp;ordinarily resident&nbsp;in,&nbsp;a sub-Saharan African country, as defined by the&nbsp;World Bank.&nbsp;<\/li><li>Applicants must have submitted an application for the online&nbsp;MSc Sexual and Reproductive Health Policy and Programming&nbsp;programme, with all required supplementary documents.&nbsp;<\/li><li>Applicants must have worked either in sexual and reproductive health field or other health-related field(s) in any sub-Saharan Africa country for a minimum of two years. &nbsp;<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Application Process:\u00a0<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>To apply for this funding, prospective applicants should complete both steps outlined below by the deadline of\u00a0<strong>23:59 (BST) on Tuesday 17 May 2022.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Step 1<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Submit an application for study for the&nbsp;<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.lshtm.ac.uk\/study\/courses\/masters-degrees\/sexual-reproductive-health-policy-programming#how-to-apply\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">MSc Sexual and Reproductive Health Policy and Programming<\/a><\/strong>, with all required supplementary documents, via the&nbsp;<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.lshtm.ac.uk\/study\/applications\/applying-masters-degree-london\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">LSHTM admissions portal<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A full list of required application documents and information can be found on the LSHTM&nbsp;<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.lshtm.ac.uk\/study\/how-apply\/applying-masters-degree-london\/you-apply-msc\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Before you apply (MSc)<\/a><\/strong>&nbsp;page.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the funding section of the programme application form, please select \u2018MSc SRHP&amp;P Scholarships\u2019<em>&nbsp;<\/em>from the drop-down menu in the Scholarship &amp; Funding section.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Step 2<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Submit an&nbsp;<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/scholarship.lshtm.ac.uk\/#\/get-started\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">online scholarships application<\/a><\/strong>&nbsp;for the \u20182022-23 MSc SRHP&amp;P Scholarships\u2019 (which will show as an option from the drop-down menu).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For this application, the only document\/s that must be uploaded onto the Scholarships portal (before the application is submitted) is\/are:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>A completed&nbsp;<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.lshtm.ac.uk\/media\/59666\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">MSc SRHP&amp;P Scholarship supplementary question form<\/a><\/strong>&nbsp;for this scholarship.<\/li><li>Prospective students who wish to continue to be in paid employment during the study period are strongly encouraged to do the MSc part-time and are strongly encouraged to also submit a letter from their current employer to confirm that the applicant is permitted to study full-time for approximately 40 hours a week, including attending about 6-12 hours of synchronous live sessions per week (or at least 2.5 days per week for 24-months part-time or 1.5 days per week for 36-months part-time study).<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>These are the&nbsp;<strong>only<\/strong>&nbsp;attachments required in Step 2 (as applicants should have already submitted references;
