Fellows will develop skills and gain experience in a daily live TV news environment, and have the opportunity to bring their unique voices, perspectives and experiences into the newsroom. Democracy Now! staff provide one-on-one mentorship and supervision to help fellows maximize their exposure to newsroom, production and online publishing practices.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A successful Video News Production Fellow must have camera and video editing skills, work well under and have some news or editorial experience. They should be an avid consumer of daily global news, demonstrating a passion for Democracy Now!\u2019s independent news mission and be a strong team player with a great attitude and a professional demeanor.
