For example a GPA score of at least 3.7, if the mark is out of 4, noting that a lot of the Clarendon scholars achieve higher than this score.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Future potential and aptitude<\/strong><strong>:<\/strong>&nbsp;Particular consideration is given to an applicant\u2019s future academic potential and aptitude of the proposed course of study; usually derived from reviewing candidate\u2019s references and research proposals.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Student motivation<\/strong>: Assessed through evidence of the applicant\u2019s commitment to the proposed course as well as evaluation of the personal statement and the referees\u2019 reports.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Scholarship Benefits<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Clarendon scholarship draws funding from multiple sources such as colleges, academic departments and divisions, University trust funds, and external organisations; hence there\u2019s no fixed amount for the award.
