{"id":16185,"date":"2023-11-01T15:42:45","date_gmt":"2023-11-01T15:42:45","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/presspay.ng\/news\/?p=16185"},"modified":"2023-11-01T15:42:48","modified_gmt":"2023-11-01T15:42:48","slug":"2024-shanghai-government-scholarship-for-international-students","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/presspay.ng\/news\/2024-shanghai-government-scholarship-for-international-students\/","title":{"rendered":"2024 Shanghai Government Scholarship for International Students"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>About<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Shanghai Government Scholarship for International Students offers fully-funded scholarships to students worldwide, including those pursuing undergraduate, master\u2019s, and doctoral degrees in China at East China Normal University in 2024.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In order to serve Shanghai in building a technological innovation center with global influence, further promote international cooperation and exchanges in education in Shanghai, and attract outstanding students and scholars from various countries to study and research in Shanghai, the Shanghai Municipal People\u2019s Government has established the Shanghai Government Scholarship for Foreign Students since 2006 ( (hereinafter referred to as the \u201cScholarship\u201d) is used to fund outstanding foreign students to study in Shanghai.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Type A scholarship (full scholarship): covers tuition, accommodation, living expenses and comprehensive medical insurance during the corresponding academic period, and is applicable to undergraduate, master\u2019s, doctoral and undergraduate preparatory studies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Type B scholarship (partial scholarship): covers tuition fees and comprehensive medical insurance during the corresponding academic period, and is applicable to undergraduate, master\u2019s and doctoral studies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Requirements:<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Applicants must be of foreign nationality and in good health.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Applicant\u2019s academic qualifications and age requirements:\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Applicants for undergraduate studies must have graduated from high school and be no more than 25 years old; Applicants for master\u2019s degree must have obtained a bachelor\u2019s degree and be no more than 35 years old; Applicants for doctoral studies must have obtained a master\u2019s degree and have certain academic qualifications level, age no more than 40 years old.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Students applying for undergraduate preparatory courses should have a high school degree or above, obtain a pre-admission notice from the undergraduate admission institution, and be no more than 23 years old.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>&nbsp;Excellent academic performance.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Meet the corresponding language proficiency requirements:\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Applicants\u2019 general Chinese Proficiency Test (HSK) should reach at least the new level 4 (new HSK certificate must be provided).
