The program which is open to young entrepreneurs and innovators, aims to identify and recognize young\u00a0changemakers from all over the world who contribute actively towards a\u00a0better alignment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The award seeks to recognize concrete practices and\u00a0impactful youth-led projects that drive change on the ground, while also serving\u00a0as\u00a0examples and inspiration beyond\u00a0their immediate impact.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Organization:<\/strong>&nbsp;Global Solutions Initiative<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Program Type:<\/strong>&nbsp;Youth Development Program<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Program Location<\/strong><strong>:&nbsp;<\/strong>Berlin, Germany<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Available Slot:&nbsp;<\/strong>Several<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Basic Qualifications<\/strong><strong>:&nbsp;<\/strong>Entrepreneurs and Innovators<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Nationality<\/strong><strong>:&nbsp;<\/strong>All Nationalities<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Eligibility Criteria<\/strong>:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Applicants must be Entrepreneurs or Innovators<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Applicants can only apply as an individual. You cannot apply as an organization, only as its representative<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Applicants should have a leading position in the project or initiative they are applying with. (This can be the founder, co-founder, project-lead, initiator or a similar role.)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Applicants must have a command of the English language&nbsp;strong enough to present their work in front of a jury and an audience, and to participate in group conversations<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Applicants should preferably be between the ages of 18 and 35<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Projects must be guided by a people-centric approach, that puts the needs and voices of their stakeholders, customers, workers or communities at the center<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Projects must be beyond the idea phase and can include social businesses as well as nonprofit activities<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The finalists present their projects at the Global Solutions Summit in Berlin.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Project-Based Eligibility&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The following criteria need to be fulfilled by all projects to be eligible, independent from the category in which they apply.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Recoupling<\/strong>: The project, business, or initiative with which you apply needs to aim at recoupling, i.e., a better alignment of economic or political activities with social well-being and environmental sustainability. This means putting the needs of people and environmental sustainability at the center of economic and\/or political activities.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Organizational Stage<\/strong>: The project or initiative must be beyond the idea stage.
