{"id":16627,"date":"2023-11-15T13:54:26","date_gmt":"2023-11-15T13:54:26","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/presspay.ng\/news\/?p=16627"},"modified":"2023-11-15T13:54:29","modified_gmt":"2023-11-15T13:54:29","slug":"history-of-edo-state-college-of-education","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/presspay.ng\/news\/history-of-edo-state-college-of-education\/","title":{"rendered":"History of Edo State College of Education"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"has-drop-cap\">The new Edo State College of Education is founded on the desire to achieve educational reforms in the State in line with the transformation agenda of the present administration under the leadership of His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Edo State, Mr. Godwin Nogheghase Obaseki.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The College was established under the enabling instrument otherwise known as Edo State College of Education (EdoCOE) Law, 2020.&nbsp; The new College is a Multi-Campus System, with campuses in the three (3) senatorial districts of Edo State.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Main Campus is at Igueben whilst other Campuses are situated at Abudu and Afuze respectively.&nbsp; The following programmes are available under the three (3) campuses as classified below:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Igueben Main Campus:- &nbsp; School of Science and Vocational Technical&nbsp;&nbsp; Education;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Abudu Campus:- Primary Education and Early Childhood Care Education;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Afuze Campus:- Physical &amp; Health Education and Special Needs Education<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>REGULATORY BODY\u2019S APPROVAL<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The registration of the new College diligently followed due process and accordingly obtained the approval of the Regulatory Body \u2013 National Commission for Colleges of Education on the 26<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0day of November, 2020, to commence NCE Programmes.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The new Edo State College of Education is founded on the desire to achieve educational reforms in the State in<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":1,"featured_media":16628,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"colormag_page_container_layout":"default_layout","colormag_page_sidebar_layout":"default_layout","footnotes":""},"categories":[49],"tags":[],"class_list":["post-16627","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-education"],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v27.4 -
