It can only be renewed for the second year if the student shows satisfactory academic performance and progress towards the degree.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Scholarship Sponsor(s):&nbsp;<\/strong>Utrecht University<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Host Institution(s):&nbsp;<\/strong>Utrecht University<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Scholarship Worth:&nbsp;<\/strong>Tuition fees, 11,000 euro living expenses<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Number of Awards:&nbsp;<\/strong>20-25<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Study level<\/strong>:&nbsp; Masters<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Nationality:&nbsp;<\/strong>International Students<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Eligibility Criteria<\/strong>:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>You must belong to the top 10% of your graduating class.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You must not hold an EU\/EEA passport and not be eligible for support under the Dutch study grant and loan system.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You must have completed your secondary school and\/or bachelor\u2019s degree outside the Netherlands.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You must have applied for an international master\u2019s programme with a start date of 1 September 2024.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Selection Criteria<\/strong>:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Academic excellence and promise in the proposed field of study;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The academic quality and results of preceding qualifications, as evidenced by proof of belonging to the top 10% of the class, grades, test scores, a writing sample, letters of recommendation;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The quality and relevance of the motivation letter for the Master\u2019s programme (academic content, intercultural and communication skills, personal motivation);<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The quality of the application for the Master\u2019s programme itself (completeness, accuracy, consistency).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Application Procedures<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>How-to-Apply:&nbsp;<\/strong>To apply for this scholarship, you are required first to submit an application (or applications) for an UES eligible Master\u2019s programme, before the stated deadline, non-EU\/EEA students will have the opportunity to submit an application for&nbsp;<strong>one&nbsp;<\/strong>Utrecht Excellence Scholarship&nbsp;<strong>from 1 November 2023<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>You will see the UES application(s) in your OSIRIS Online Application account dashboard.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click&nbsp;<em>view\/edit<\/em>&nbsp;for the UES linked (related process) to the programme you wish to apply for,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Upload the requested proof of belonging to the top 10% of your class, answer the questions and submit the application.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Document Requirements:<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Proof of belonging to the top 10% of your graduating class which will be evidenced by an official document that proves that you are among the top 10% of your class.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Such documents as a statement signed and stamped by your institution, a reference letter, a class ranking certificate, etc.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Application Deadline: 31 January 2024<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.uu.nl\/masters\/en\/general-information\/international-students\/financial-matters\/grants-and-scholarships\/utrecht-excellence-scholarships\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">More Details at Official Webpage<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Do you want to study in\u00a0Netherlands\u00a0on\u00a0scholarship?
