co-working and community space in Kigali, Rwanda, working to drive development of health technologies in Africa and fast-track these innovations in public health systems through collaboration with government partners and funders of global health.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>By doing so, the HealthTech Hub Africa aims to support African governments in tackling their largest health challenges, particularly those faced by low-income and underserved populations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Members of The HealthTech Hub participate in an immersive innovation program, investment readiness masterclasses, partner match-making with the public and private sectors, mentorship, and opportunities to test and validate their solutions in the public health system.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Growth\u00a0Startups<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Startups in this stage are\u00a0pre- or post-revenue\u00a0African registered companies with an\u00a0African founder\u00a0operating in\u00a0one of the four thematic areas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The startups are expected to be offering a product or service that is creating positive health benefits, with a rigorous approach to monitoring their impact on individuals (e.g. clients, patients, community members, health workers).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As part of the cohort, startups can refine their business models, validate their solutions, and integrate them into the public health sector.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Benefits:<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Expert masterclasses<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Media training, public speaking and pitch practice sessions<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Community support and peer learning and collaboration opportunities.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Invitation to networking meetups and hybrid events across Africa and beyond.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>&nbsp;Access to the HealthTech Hub Africa Impact Framework and training on its use.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Startup solution demos and opportunities to pitch during the HealthTech summits in Kigali, Rwanda.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Mentorship from volunteer mentors, per startup, with strong expertise in population health and technology<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Support to understand national digital health strategies and roadmaps and develop public-private partnerships.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Free access to world-class legal services, accounting, marketing, talent acquisition, and accelerated fundraising.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Introduction to digital interoperability standards (e.g., HL7 FHIR\/ WHO SMART Guidelines) to support public sector integration.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Access to the HTHA public-private network, providing pro bono technology credits, advisory, market access support, funding opportunities.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Training and access to an interactive platform for growth-level support allowing for better structuring and refinement of existing and new business models and preparation of executive summaries.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Scaleups<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>These will be\u00a0post-revenue\u00a0African registered startups\u00a0 with an African founder operating in\u00a0<strong>one of the four thematic areas.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The scaleups will be expected to be offering a\u00a0evidence-based\u00a0product or service that is creating positive health benefits, with a rigorous approach to monitoring their impact on individuals e.g. clients, patients, community members, health workers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The program\u2019s goal is to assist scale-ups in validating and integrating their solutions at scale into one or more public health systems in
