The National Universities Commission (NUC) has granted Kano University of Science and Technology (KUST) Wudil, full accreditation of 21 academic programmes in five faculties.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The NUC\u2019s substantive credence to KUST academic programmes came after critical inspection and validation of manpower resources and modern facilities available for the Educating and readiness of human and material resources to run the programmes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The approved academic programmes include; Agricultural Education, Biology Education, Chemistry Education, Physics Education, Geography, Health Education, Human Kinetics and Library and Information Science,<\/em> Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Food Science and Technology, Urban and Regional Planning, Biology, Chemistry, Geology, Mathematics, Microbiology, Physics, Statistics and Computer Science<\/em>, Bsc Forestry and Wildlife Management, Bsc Fisheries and Aquaculture, BSc Quantity Surveying, BSc Estate Management, BSc Building Technology amongst others.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n In the letter of approval, signed by NUC executive secretary of the commission, Prof. Abubakar Abdulrasheed,represented by the director of accreditation, Dr. Maryam Sali, said the commission full credence will be valid for the next five years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n In a speech given by the Vice Chancellor of the University Professor Shehu Alhaji Musa, said on Sunday. \u201cThe 100 per cent accreditation of academic programmes under my stewardship is another milestone achievement that would remain in the sand of time.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" The National Universities Commission (NUC) has granted Kano University of Science and Technology (KUST) Wudil, full accreditation of 21 academic<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":1,"featured_media":596,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"colormag_page_container_layout":"default_layout","colormag_page_sidebar_layout":"default_layout","footnotes":""},"categories":[1],"tags":[],"class_list":["post-1681","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-uncategorized"],"yoast_head":"\n
