Then the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/studygreen.info\/international-monetary-fund-economist-program-for-young-graduates\/\"><strong>IMF Economist Program<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0is for you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Economist Program offers participants a well-rounded experience of the IMF\u2019s work and provides a unique foundation for a thought-provoking and fulfilling career as an economist.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The program is targeted at young economists who want to have influence on the global stage and who can bring the latest in economic thought and multidisciplinary approaches to help address key global monetary cooperation, securing financial stability, boosting international trade, promoting employment and sustainable economic growth and reducing poverty.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During the tree-year program, candidates will rotate through two departmental assignments, joining economic teams working in regional and country-specific surveillance as well as fiscal, monetary, balance of payments, debts, or related issues.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Eligibility Criteria<\/strong>:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Be a recent PhD graduate or be within one year of completing your PhD in a relevant field of study.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A national of one of the International Monetary Fund member countries.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Be under the age of 34 when you join the IMF EP program.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Application Procedures<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>How-to-Apply&nbsp;<\/strong>Interested applicants for the International Monetary Fund Economist Program are to apply online by visiting the IMF&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/nam10.safelinks.protection.outlook.com\/?url=https%3A%2F%2Fimf.wd5.myworkdayjobs.com%2Fen-US%2FIMF%2Fjob%2FUSA-Washington-DC%2FEconomist-Program-2022_21-R1830&amp;data=04%7C01%7CJLiu%40imf.org%7Cd29b1c4cf5204143f71208d989075f62%7C8085fa43302e45bdb171a6648c3b6be7%7C0%7C0%7C637691487022937059%7CUnknown%7CTWFpbGZsb3d8eyJWIjoiMC4wLjAwMDAiLCJQIjoiV2luMzIiLCJBTiI6Ik1haWwiLCJXVCI6Mn0%3D%7C1000&amp;sdata=WTVsHp9HTASTJgV3hEGF6ueIMVRK%2FZpLL50CMmvhMUA%3D&amp;reserved=0\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Career Site<\/a>. Shortlisted candidates will be interviewed between now and January, with offers made in early February.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Applicants are to note that the selection process consists of multiple stages, which may run in parallel to one another.
