{"id":17096,"date":"2023-11-30T16:23:48","date_gmt":"2023-11-30T16:23:48","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/presspay.ng\/news\/?p=17096"},"modified":"2023-11-30T16:23:53","modified_gmt":"2023-11-30T16:23:53","slug":"2024-kth-royal-institute-scholarship-in-sweden-how-to-apply","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/presspay.ng\/news\/2024-kth-royal-institute-scholarship-in-sweden-how-to-apply\/","title":{"rendered":"2024 KTH Royal Institute Scholarship In Sweden | How to Apply"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The KTH Royal Institute Scholarship covers the full tuition fee of a one or two-year master\u2019s program for International students.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In 2023, 8 % of the scholarship applicants admitted to a program were nominated for the KTH Scholarship (55 out of 677).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The selection process for the scholarship focuses on academic excellence and drive to contribute to sustainable development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Every year, a limited number of KTH Scholarship are awarded based on academic excellence to students who are required to pay tuition fees and who has applied for a Master\u2019s programme at KTH as first priority.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Other KTH scholarships are also offered:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022&nbsp;KTH One-Year Scholarship<br>\u2022&nbsp;KTH Joint Programme Scholarship<br>\u2022&nbsp;KTH India Scholarship<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Requirements:<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>To be eligible for the KTH scholarship you must be a fee-paying student and have applied for a master\u2019s programme at KTH as your first priority. Students with conditional eligibility also qualify for the scholarship.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Eligible programmes<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>KTH Scholarships are available for applicants to all programmes except for joint Erasmus+, EIT Digital, EIT InnoEnergy, EIT Urban Mobility and Nordic Five Tech programmes, and the joint programme Computer Simulations for Science and Engineering. However, applicants to some of these programmes can apply for the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.kth.se\/en\/studies\/master\/general\/scholarships\/kth-joint-programme-scholarship-1.611327\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">KTH Joint Programme Scholarship<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Applicants for the joint master\u2019s programmes in Molecular Techniques in Life Science, and Innovative Technology for Healthy Living (EIT Health) are eligible for the KTH Scholarship.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Benefit:<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The KTH Scholarship covers the tuition fee at KTH for the first and the second year, provided that the study results during the first year are satisfactory.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The scholarship does not include living costs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Selection Process<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The scholarship is awarded primarily on the basis of academic excellence and the selection process is undertaken in parallel with the admissions process.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Only applicants who fulfil the admission requirements of the programme applied for are eligible for a scholarship.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>After the applicants have been assessed for admission, an assessment of applicants for the scholarship is made based on the following criteria:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The applicant\u2019s grades (GPA or equivalent)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The ranking of the university that awarded the applicant\u2019s bachelor\u2019s degree<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The applicant\u2019s motivation, relevant work experience and extra-curricular activities<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The applicant\u2019s motivation how they will contribute to the sustainable development goals with a master\u2019s degree from KTH<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>How to apply?<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>You must apply for admissions to an eligible Master\u2019s programme at KTH. Applications are done online at&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.universityadmissions.se\/intl\/start\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">www.universityadmissions.se<\/a>.
