{"id":17121,"date":"2023-12-04T12:13:56","date_gmt":"2023-12-04T12:13:56","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/presspay.ng\/news\/?p=17121"},"modified":"2023-12-04T12:13:59","modified_gmt":"2023-12-04T12:13:59","slug":"history-of-joseph-ayo-babalola-university","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/presspay.ng\/news\/history-of-joseph-ayo-babalola-university\/","title":{"rendered":"History of Joseph Ayo Babalola University"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"has-drop-cap\">Established in 2004 and approved on 8th February 2006 by the Federal Executive Council,\u00a0Joseph Ayo Babalola University\u00a0received its license of operations on 6th March 2006 and was opened to students for the 2006\/2007 academic session on 25th October 2006.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Established in 2004\u00a0in obedience to divine instructions by the\u00a0Christ Apostolic Church\u00a0and under the visionary leadership of its then President, Pastor (Dr.) E.H.L. Olusheye.\u00a0The former President of\u00a0Christ Apostolic Church, Pastor A.O Akinosun as the Chairman of our Board of Trustees provided overall direction, with invigorated and renewed spiritual and financial commitments to the university.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The first Chancellor of the university was His Royal Majesty, Oba (Dr.) Oladele Olashore (CON).
