The scholarship is intended to facilitate access to undergraduate-level study for academically gifted students.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Warwick Global Excellence Scholarship is your invitation to join us in the creation of knowledge that can change both the world, and your own career opportunities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In 2023 Warwick awarded scholarships totalling just under \u00a31.5 million to students from more than 40 different nationalities worldwide. This included 20 full-fee scholarships, 160 half-fee scholarship and 70 \u00a32,000 awards.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The total funds available for the scheme in 2024 will be equal to 2023 however the split of awards for 2024 is currently under consideration. More information on this will be available in December 2023.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Eligibility\u00a0Criteria:<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Be self-funded*<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Be classed as an \u2018overseas\u2019 or \u2018international-fee paying\u2019 student for tuition fee purposes<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Have applied for a full-time undergraduate course at the University of Warwick starting in Autumn 2024 before the UCAS application deadline of\u00a0<strong>31\u00a0January 2024<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Submit a scholarship application before 12:00pm on Wednesday, 20 March 2024 BST<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>By 16 May 2024, you must be in receipt of an offer of a place to study at Warwick starting September 2024<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Benefit:<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>\u00a31.5 million to students from more than 40 different nationalities worldwide.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>This included 20 full-fee scholarships, 160 half-fee scholarship and 70 \u00a32,000 awards.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>How to apply?<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Eligible international applicants will be contacted with details on how to formally apply for the scholarship.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Please note: In order to apply for the scholarship you must first&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/warwick.ac.uk\/services\/its\/servicessupport\/accounts\/applicant_accounts\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">set up an IT account<\/a>&nbsp;which can take up to 48 hours to verify. Once this is done, many of the application fields will be completed for you and any areas that need supporting information or statements from you will be clearly indicated on the application form.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Applicants will be required to answer the question \u201cWhat makes you excellent?\u201d<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The objective is to learn more about what motivates you, how your excellence might benefit the Warwick community and how you hope your learning and experience at Warwick will help you make the World a better place once you graduate.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Answers can reference academic attainment, extracurricular successes and personal achievement but should not be a copy of the personal statement. You may write in essay or extended bullet point form but please don\u2019t simply write a list. You should provide context and relevance to the objectives above.
