Tansian University, Umunya, Anambra State, recently bags full accreditation from NUC. The announce was made at the University Senate by the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Eugene Okoye Nwadialor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Recall, that the National Universities Commission (NUC) visited Tansian University Umunya in January, 2022 for the purpose of reaccreditation of her academic programmes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Accreditation of degree programmes by the NUC is a system of evaluating academic programmes in Nigerian universities to ensure that they meet the provisions of the Minimum Academic Standard.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Prof. Eugene, expressed so much excitement while presenting all the ten undergraduate programmes presented for accreditation that were approved by the NUC. The approved programmes include:\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

1. <\/em><\/strong>Department of Philosophy<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

2. Department of Political science<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

3. Department of Accountancy<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

4. Department of Business Administration<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

5. Department of Economics<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

6. Department of Banking and Finance<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

7. Department of Industrial Chemistry<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

8. Department of Biochemistry<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

9. Department of Microbiology<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

10. Department of Computer science<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
