ADB advertises internship assignments twice a year and welcomes motivated, open-minded, and self-directed individuals to apply.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>work in a major international development organization;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>work collaboratively with experienced professionals from over 50 different countries;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>gain a deeper understanding of development finance and the impact of the work ADB does; and<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>contribute to ADB\u2019s business through research outputs.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The duration should be a minimum of 8 weeks (56 days) and a maximum of 11 weeks for one internship assignment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Eligibility Criteria:<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>be enrolled in a Master\u2019s- or PhD-level program at a school in one of the ADB member nations, both prior to and after the internship assignment;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>be engaged in academic study in a field directly related to ADB\u2019s work;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>be a national of one of&nbsp;ADB\u2019s members;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>possess an excellent command of English; and<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>have professional experience relevant to the assignment.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Benefits:<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Stipend is provided to all interns for the duration of the internship. Exception to receiving stipend would be interns who fall under the special arrangement category between select schools and ADB.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>How to Apply?<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>ADB announces the assignments on the website and candidates choose assignments of interest.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Candidates apply through ACES, prepare for their CVs and answer the essay questions.\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>All documents (CV and essay) are uploaded to ACES to complete application.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Applications submitted after the deadline will not be considered.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>To avoid errors in submission, applicants are advised not to wait until the last day of the application period in submitting their internship applications.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>ADB evaluates applications based on: eligibility requirements, relevance of academic study and work experience; and the level of interest and motivation to contribute to development work.
