The Academy is a one-year Fellowship programme initiated by the Lagos State Governor, Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu that will offer life changing, non-partisan and meritocratic opportunities to young Nigerians who desire to impact their generation. We aim to develop future leaders by equipping them with the requisite skills to positively influence the public service and instill in them the ethics and values of purposeful leadership through direct mentoring and on-the-job training.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Becoming A Fellow Is Simple:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

1. Apply Online<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

You can start your journey into the Academy by simply clicking on \u201cAPPLY NOW\u201d<\/em><\/strong> button on the website https:\/\/www.ljla.academy\/ <\/p>\n\n\n\n

2. Computer Based Test (CBT)<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Your application would be assessed and you would be shortlisted to take the Computer Based Test if you meet all criteria. The test would involve verbal, numeric and current affairs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

3. Assessment Center<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

This is a series of tests and interviews including written and oral presentations, group discussions and competency assessment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

4. Admission<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

This is the final stage of your application. You would be offered a slot into the Fellowship if you are selected.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Eligibilty<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The LJLA will offer non-partisan and meritocratic opportunities. It will combine on-the-job training through shadowing of Lagos State executive cabinet members. Fellows will shadow Executive Council Members in the ministries or agencies they are posted to. This would enable them to conveniently develop and implement solutions in their various postings.
Fellows will be expected to have a profound sense of purpose regardless of scale and scope of challenge.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fellows will take part in at least one international policy trip to nations that have moved from third world to first world like Singapore, Beijing, Tokyo and many more. This opportunity will allow them explore how leadership in other first world States work, and leaders whose visions have illustrated their country\u2019s economic and social trajectory.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. BE A NIGERIAN<\/em><\/li>
  2. HAVE 3 YEARS WORK EXPERIENCE<\/em><\/li>
  3. BE UNDER 35 YEARS OLD<\/em><\/li>
  4. HOLD A MINIMUM OF HND OR BACHELORS\u2019 DEGREE<\/em><\/li>
  5. HAVE NYSC DISCHARGE\/EXEMPTION CERTIFICATE<\/em> <\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n
