There are cash prizes and you\u2019ll be invited to attend our 2024 symposium. To find out more click the link below.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Prizes<\/strong>:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The winner and runners-up will receive cash prizes and will be invited to attend our annual symposium.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>First place: \u00a33,000<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Second place: \u00a31,000<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Third place: \u00a31,000<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We will also offer up to \u00a3500 travel expenses to help with travel to the event and meals and accommodation during the symposium dates are also covered.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The symposium will take place from <strong>Sat 6th &#8211; Tue 9th July 2024<\/strong> in <strong>Tuscany, Italy<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Rules<\/strong>:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Open to all nationalities.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Applicants must be aged 18 or above at the time of entry.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>All entries must be written in English.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Applicants must commit to using some of their prize money to attend our symposium from Sat 6th &#8211; Tue 9th July 2024 in Tuscany, Italy.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You may submit one poem or a collection of poems as long as ALL the poems in the collection speak to the theme.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>There is a maximum of 500 words per entry.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>There is no minimum required word count.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Submissions will be judged anonymously, so please ensure that your name does not appear anywhere on your work.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Due to the volume of applications, the judge\u2019s decisions are final and no correspondence will be entered into following the results.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Key dates:<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Applications open: <\/strong>1st January 2024<br><strong>Applications close:<\/strong> 1st March 2024 at 23:59 (UK time)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/alpinefellowship.submittable.com\/submit\/275661\/alpine-fellowship-poetry-prize-2024\">APPLY NOW<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Alpine Fellowship 2024 Symposium is hosted in partnership with Bard College through the Open Society University Network and supported<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":1,"featured_media":18914,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"colormag_page_container_layout":"default_layout","colormag_page_sidebar_layout":"default_layout","footnotes":""},"categories":[41],"tags":[],"class_list":["post-18913","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-fellowship"],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v27.4 -
