{"id":1894,"date":"2022-05-12T13:40:16","date_gmt":"2022-05-12T13:40:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/presspay.ng\/news\/?p=1894"},"modified":"2022-05-12T13:40:19","modified_gmt":"2022-05-12T13:40:19","slug":"2021-2022-federal-government-scholarship-award","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/presspay.ng\/news\/2021-2022-federal-government-scholarship-award\/","title":{"rendered":"2021\/2022 FEDERAL GOVERNMENT SCHOLARSHIP AWARD."},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The Honourable Minister of Education (HME),&nbsp;<strong>Mallam Adamu Adamu,&nbsp;<\/strong>hereby invites interested and qualified Nigerians to participate in the 2021\/2022&nbsp;<strong>Nomination<\/strong>&nbsp;Computer Based Test (CBT) for the Federal Government Scholarship Award for:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>NIGERIA AWARD SCHOLARSHIP (NA) 2021\/2022&nbsp;&nbsp;TENABLE IN NIGERIA&nbsp;&nbsp;PUBLIC TERTIARY INSTITUIONS<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>THE ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR NIGERIAN AWARD\u00a0ARE AS FOLLOWS:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Applicants for Postgraduate studies should possess a minimum of first degree with Second Class Honours&nbsp;&nbsp;Division.&nbsp;&nbsp;Applicant must be registered Full-Time student of Federal or State Universities.<\/li><li>All other applicants (UG, HND &amp; NCE) must be registered full-time students in their second year or above in Federal or State Universities, Polytechnics, Monotechnics and Colleges of Education.&nbsp;&nbsp;All undergraduate Scholarship applicants (Physically challenged inclusive) must have at least 4.0 Cumulative Grade Points Aggregate (CGPA) on a five (5) point scale or its equivalents or 5.0 on a 7 point scale.<\/li><li>All NCE and HND applicants must have a CGPA of 3.5 and above on a scale of 4.0<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>IMPORTANT INFORMATION:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>The scholarship is tenable in Nigeria and take effect from the beginning of the academic session.<\/li><li>It shall not be held at the same time with another Award nor for part-time studies.<\/li><li>Change of course or Institution is not allowed while enjoying the award.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>FIELD OF STUDY&nbsp;&nbsp;TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THE AWARD ARE AS FOLLOWS:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Science and Technology<\/li><li>Medicine and Para-medicals<\/li><li>Education<\/li><li>Agriculture<\/li><li>Liberal Arts\/Social\/Management Sciences<\/li><li>Entrepreneural Studies,<\/li><li>ICT<\/li><li>Environmental Sciences<\/li><li>Law<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>METHOD OF APPLICATION<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>All qualified candidates are advised to<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>a. Visit Federal Ministry of Education\u2019s website&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.education.gov.ng\/\"><strong>www.education.gov.ng<\/strong><\/a>&nbsp;and click on&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<strong>Federal Scholarship Board ICON on the Home Page:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;b.
