The Resilience Fund provides core, flexible, long-term support for up to 10 years. This enables grantee partners to strategize, plan, and carry out the work they want to do, in the way that they want to do it \u2013 over the long term \u2013 so that they can grow, strengthen, and sustain their feminist movements.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mama Cash\u2019s adoption of a regional restriction for new Resilience grants for 2024 stems from an ambition to re-balance their grantmaking portfolio to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>ensure that the bulk of their funding in 2024 is weighted toward their core, long-term, flexible funding and<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>maintain transparency about their participatory grantmaking processes, institutional priorities, and staffing realities.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Eligibility<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Open to self-led feminist organizations and initiatives based in the following regions: Africa, West Asia, East Asia, South Asia, Southeast Asia, and Oceania. Applicants for new Resilience Fund grants that are not based in the above-listed regions will not be considered this year.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>To be eligible for the Resilience Fund, groups and initiatives must:\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Work from a feminist, women\u2019s, girls, and trans and\/or intersex people\u2019s rights perspective;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Be self-led by the women, girls, trans people, and\/or intersex people they work with;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Have the promotion of women\u2019s, girls\u2019, trans people\u2019s, and\/or intersex people\u2019s human rights as their primary mission, and not just as the focus of part of their programs;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Push for structural and fundamental change; and,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Focus on issues that are under-addressed and\/or contested in their context.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Grant<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The value of the grant is between \u20ac5,000 \u2013 \u20ac50,000 per year, average grant size \u20ac35,000.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Deadline: March 17, 2024<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Click&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.mamacash.org\/resources\/the-mama-cash-2024-grantmaking-window-is-now-open\/\">HERE<\/a>&nbsp;to Apply<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Mama Cash supports ambitious self-led feminist organizations and initiatives that defend and advance the rights of women, girls, and trans<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":1,"featured_media":4728,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"colormag_page_container_layout":"default_layout","colormag_page_sidebar_layout":"default_layout","footnotes":""},"categories":[17],"tags":[],"class_list":["post-19185","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-featured"],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v27.4 -
