{"id":19268,"date":"2024-02-28T15:50:50","date_gmt":"2024-02-28T15:50:50","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/presspay.ng\/news\/?p=19268"},"modified":"2024-02-28T15:50:53","modified_gmt":"2024-02-28T15:50:53","slug":"eth4d-global-cooperation-and-sustainable-development-gcsd-scholarships-2024-fully-funded-study-in-switzerland","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/presspay.ng\/news\/eth4d-global-cooperation-and-sustainable-development-gcsd-scholarships-2024-fully-funded-study-in-switzerland\/","title":{"rendered":"ETH4D Global Cooperation and Sustainable Development (GCSD) Scholarships 2024 (Fully Funded Study in Switzerland)"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The ETH4D\u2013GCSD Scholarship Programme covers travel and accommodation costs for candidates from least-\u200b, lower-\u200b and lower-\u200bmiddle income countries to attend the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/nadel.ethz.ch\/education\/mas-development-and-cooperation.html\">MAS Global Cooperation and Sustainable Development<\/a>&nbsp;at ETH Zurich.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Eligibility Criteria:<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The candidate must hold a completed and recognised Master\u2019s degree from a university<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The minimum English standard is TOEFL level C1 \/&nbsp;TOEFL 95-\u200b120.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The scholarship is open to candidates from all least-\u200b, lower-\u200b and lower-\u200bmiddle income countries on the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.oecd.org\/dac\/financing-sustainable-development\/development-finance-standards\/DAC-List-of-ODA-Recipients-for-reporting-2024-25-flows.pdf\">external pageDAC-\u200blist of the OECDcall_made<\/a>&nbsp;(students from upper-\u200bmiddle-income countries and high income countries are not eligible)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Candidates must be accepted by the ETH MAS GCSD programme (interviews take place in May)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Benefits:<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Financial Support:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>The ETH4D\u2013GCSD Scholarship Programme covers the following expenses:<\/strong><br>\u2014&nbsp;Economy roundtrip ticket (max. 1\u2019500 CHF)<sup>1<\/sup><br>\u2014&nbsp;Visa fees<br>\u2014&nbsp;Living allowance for 10 months of the duration of the study programme (September 2024 to February 2025 and November 2025 to February 2026): 2\u2019200 CHF per month<br>\u2014&nbsp;The living costs for the duration of the Junior Project Assignment (JPO) (March 2025-\u200bOctober 2025) will be covered by a separate stipend granted to all participants of the MAS GCSD programme by the Swiss Development Cooperation (SDC)<br>\u2014&nbsp;Programme Cost: 6\u2019260 CHF (in the form of a tuition fee waiver)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><sup>1<\/sup>Expenses for flight tickets and visa fees are reimbursed in cash once the awarded student has arrived in Switzerland<br><br>Application Process<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The application process comprises two steps.<br><br>1. Application to the MAS GCSD programme (independent from the scholarship application).<br>2.
