Interns are assigned to different departments\/units depending on their interests and qualifications, and according to departmental needs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Internship Program offers opportunities to focus on one or more of the following: public sector operations; private sector and trade finance operations; financial operations; risk management; strategic planning and economic services; internal audit; human resources; administration; communication; legal services; and information technology.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The OPEC Fund for International Development Internship Program runs for between three and six months and is designed to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Provide a framework to support students assigned to any OPEC Fund department so that the focus remains on enriching the student\u2019s experience;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Provide an immersive experience so that students gain practical experience of working for an international organization; and<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Provide the opportunity for students to understand the OPEC Fund\u2019s vision, mission and related values.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Eligibility Criteria:<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>To be considered for the OPEC Fund Internship Program, applicants must be:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Applicants must be between 19 to 25 years of age and enrolled in an undergraduate program (having completed at least two years) or graduate program.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Alternatively, applicants may be recent graduates, having graduated a maximum of one year before the application deadline.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Fluent in English. Good working knowledge of Arabic, French, German or Spanish is an added advantage.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Keenly interested in the work of the OPEC Fund.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ability to work in an international multi-cultural environment, with sensitivity and respect for diversity.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ability to demonstrate the OPEC Fund\u2019s core values (Integrity, Empowerment, Excellence, Innovation, Community).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Benefits&nbsp;<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Conducting research;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Writing documents;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Organizing information; and<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Assisting employees with their day-to-day work.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Required Documents&nbsp;<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>To apply for the OPEC Fund internship program, the following documents must be submitted:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>An Online Application Form;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A Curriculum Vitae (CV);<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A copy of their university diploma or equivalent, or an original letter of confirmation from a university\/school certifying the applicant is\/was an undergraduate student;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A copy of their most recent university transcripts, showing the cumulative GPA or equivalent; and<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A short statement in English (about 150-250 words) outlining their motivation for applying.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>How to Apply?<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Interested and qualified applicants should use the \u201cCLICK HERE TO APPLY\u201d button to proceed to the application page.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Due to a large volume of applications, the OPEC Fund will only enter into further correspondence with shortlisted candidates.
