{"id":19728,"date":"2024-03-14T15:02:24","date_gmt":"2024-03-14T15:02:24","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/presspay.ng\/news\/?p=19728"},"modified":"2024-03-14T15:02:37","modified_gmt":"2024-03-14T15:02:37","slug":"2024-foursquare-national-scholarship","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/presspay.ng\/news\/2024-foursquare-national-scholarship\/","title":{"rendered":"2024 Foursquare National Scholarship"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The Foursquare National Scholarship is a testament to the church\u2019s commitment to nurturing talents and providing financial support to undergraduate students across every region of Nigeria.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Foursquare National Scholarship aims to develop a program that will be implemented to meet the educational needs of students who desire a good education but are impaired by financial difficulties.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Eligibility Criteria:<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Applicant must be indigent with clear verifiable proof of inability to meet educational bills.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Only students of Federal or State universities, Polytechnics and tertiary institutions are eligible to apply while secondary school applicants must be enrolled in a State-owned institution.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Students of McPherson University are also eligible to apply.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Undergraduate applicants must they have valid admission to study in a Federal or State tertiary institution<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Secondary school applicants will be required to provide proof of their school enrolment.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Undergraduate applicants from 200 level and above must have a minimum of Second class upper with a cumulative CGPA of 3.5\/5.0.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Only applicants in Senior Secondary school (i.e. SS1 -SS3) are eligible to apply and they must have a minimum cumulative percentage of 80% in their previous sessional examinations.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>undergraduate applicant&nbsp; must maintain a minimum of second-class upper division in order to have the scholarship award renewed while successful secondary school applicants must maintain a minimum cumulative percentage of 70%.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Only undergraduates not older than 27 years and secondary school students not older than 20 years are eligible to apply for this scholarship.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Benefits:<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The Foursquare National Scholarship will cover the full expenses of your education (tuition, accommodation, living expenses) until you graduate provided you maintain the required CGPA.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Required Documents<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Scholarship motivation letter written by the applicant<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>WAEC result (for fresh undergraduates only)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>JAMB and Post JAMB results (for fresh undergraduates only)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Admission letter (for fresh undergraduates only)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Result of previous academic session (for current undergraduates)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Completed online application form<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Birth Certificate&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>How to Apply?<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Visit the scholarship application webpage using the button below<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click on \u2018Applications\u2019 and select either \u2018Fresh Application\u2019 if you are a new applicant or a \u2018Scholarship Renewal\u2019 if you are a returning awardee<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Fill and complete the form as appropriate<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Submit your application and attach all required supporting documents.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Qualified applicants will be contacted for an aptitude test.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Successful candidates will be invited for oral interviews with an independent panel, with their decisions being final.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>This will be followed by the verification of applicants\u2019 claims and documents.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/4sqrnationalscholarship.com.ng\/apply\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">CLICK HERE TO APPLY<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Deadline: March 25, 2024<\/h4>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Foursquare National Scholarship is a testament to the church\u2019s commitment to nurturing talents and providing financial support to undergraduate<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":1,"featured_media":2406,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"colormag_page_container_layout":"default_layout","colormag_page_sidebar_layout":"default_layout","footnotes":""},"categories":[1],"tags":[],"class_list":["post-19728","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-uncategorized"],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v27.3 -
