{"id":20197,"date":"2024-03-28T15:56:39","date_gmt":"2024-03-28T15:56:39","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/presspay.ng\/news\/?p=20197"},"modified":"2024-03-28T15:58:34","modified_gmt":"2024-03-28T15:58:34","slug":"canon-visa-pour-limage-photojournalist-grant-2024-for-outstanding-female-photographers","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/presspay.ng\/news\/canon-visa-pour-limage-photojournalist-grant-2024-for-outstanding-female-photographers\/","title":{"rendered":"Canon\/Visa pour l\u2019Image Photojournalist Grant 2024 for Outstanding Female Photographers."},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>For the twenty-fourth year in a row,&nbsp;<strong>Canon<\/strong>&nbsp;and Visa pour l\u2019Image will be presenting the prestigious Canon Female Photojournalist Grant to an outstanding photographer in recognition of her contribution to photojournalism.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Benefits:<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The grant of \u20ac8,000 provides funding to support a compelling new project which will be featured as an exhibition at the 2025 festival.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Application conditions<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Applicants must have completed at least one photo-reportage (published or unpublished)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Applicants must be professional photojournalists<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Applicants must be able to write and speak in French and\/or English<br><br>The application dossier will include the following items:<br><br>1- a signed application form,<br>2- a copy of the Applicant\u2019s identity card or passport,<br>3- an affidavit stating that the candidate is a professional photojournalist (attestation of honor written by the photographer or from an agency or from a newspaper)<br>4- a curriculum vitae,<br>5- a letter in support of the application including a description of the photoreportage project (maximum 1 typed page). This letter must remain anonymous and must not contain anything that would allow the candidate to be identified.<br>6- a projected budget for the photo-reportage project for which the Grant is to be used if obtained.
