Junior Professionals will benefit from strong mentoring and regional networking as they prepare for positions of greater responsibility with the Catholic Relief Services (CRS).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Eligibility<\/strong> <strong>Criteria:<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Open to qualified, professional women in West Africa;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Applicant should have a Master\u2019s degree in related field (e.g. Economic Development, Agriculture, Health, Business, Administration, Finance, Human Resources, Supply Chain);<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Received Master\u2019s degree within 24 months of program start date (October 2024);<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>At least six months of relevant work experience (e.g. internship, practicum, volunteer or paid work);<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Excellent speaking and writing skills in the official business language of the country (French or English);<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Citizen of a participating country (see above);<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Excels in collaborative multicultural environment;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Willingness to travel (up to 25% of the time);<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Willingness to be based in field offices outside of the capital city during JPP program year and after program completion.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Preferred Qualifications<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Strong analytical, problem-solving and research skills<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Agile, proactive, resourceful, and results-oriented<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Strong presentation and facilitation skills<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Eligible Countries<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The Junior Professionals Program is currently available in Senegal, Liberia, Gambia, Guinea, Ghana, Burkina Faso, Niger, Mali and Sierra Leone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Benefits<\/strong>:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Practical training:<\/strong>\u00a0Through hands-on experience and extensive training, Junior Professionals will grow and develop their skills in project design; program management; monitoring, evaluation, accountability and learning; partnership building; and operations.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Mentorship:<\/strong>\u00a0Each Junior Professional will be paired with a mentor who will be actively involved in providing guidance, feedback and career coaching.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Customized professional experience:<\/strong>\u00a0In addition to the core training, Junior Professionals will build their skills in a specific area related to their professional development goals, and strategically\u202fposition themselves for onward positions with CRS.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Regional networking:<\/strong>\u00a0All Junior Professionals will be part of the regional community of practice that will share successes, challenges, and lessons learned from their work.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Application Process<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Prepare a motivation letter<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Prepare CV<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Complete the online application<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Deadline: June 30, 2024<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Click&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.crs.org\/about\/careers\/junior-professionals\">HERE<\/a>&nbsp;to Apply<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Junior Professionals Program is an opportunity for qualified, professional women in West Africa to transform their passion for international<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":1,"featured_media":20563,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"colormag_page_container_layout":"default_layout","colormag_page_sidebar_layout":"default_layout","footnotes":""},"categories":[43],"tags":[],"class_list":["post-20562","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-entrepreneurship"],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v27.3 -
