{"id":20745,"date":"2024-04-19T14:30:43","date_gmt":"2024-04-19T14:30:43","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/presspay.ng\/news\/?p=20745"},"modified":"2024-04-19T14:30:48","modified_gmt":"2024-04-19T14:30:48","slug":"transilvania-academica-scholarship-international-student-2024","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/presspay.ng\/news\/transilvania-academica-scholarship-international-student-2024\/","title":{"rendered":"Transilvania Academica Scholarship International Student 2024"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Transilvania Academica Scholarship is designed as a competition for international students from non EU or non EEA countries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Objectives<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>To attract international students to study at Transilvania University<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>To form a group of \u201cAmbassadors\u201d of Transilvania University and thereby increase the international visibility of our institution<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Eligibility Criteria:<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The applying candidates have to fill in the\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/tas.unitbv.ro\/?page_id=4\">online application form<\/a>\u00a0as described in the Application File section below.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Duration<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The scholarship is awarded for the full attendance of bachelor\u2019s, master\u2019s or doctoral degree studies to candidates accepted for studies at Transilvania University.<br>The students\u2019 full passing of each academic year is the condition for the scholarship to be granted for the following year of study.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Amount<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>tuition fees (including registration and graduation fees);<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>free accommodation in the university\u2019s dormitories (including holidays);<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>a monthly allowance of 800 lei (approx. 170 USD, including holidays).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The travel expenses and the costs incurred by the visa for Romania will be covered by the candidate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Application process<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The application file includes the following documents (in .pdf format) to be uploaded in the&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/tas.unitbv.ro\/?page_id=4\">online application form<\/a>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>curriculum vitae, highlighting the candidate\u2019s outstanding achievements;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>motivation letter (maximum one page);<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>three letters of recommendation to support the candidate\u2019s outstanding results.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The submission of all the documents in English is obligatory for the candidates\u2019 admission to the competition. Incomplete files will be rejected. No document can be added to the file after the submission deadline.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>An evaluation board whose members are appointed by the Rector of Transilvania University of Brasov will be in charge of the candidates\u2019 selection.<br>The selection criterion is the quality of the documents submitted in the application file.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Calendar of the selection process:<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>19.02.2024 \u2013 26.04.2024 \u2013 Candidates\u2019 registration by filling in the online application form;<br>29.04.2024 \u2013 28.05.2024 \u2013 Evaluation of application files;<br>29.05.2024 \u2013 30.05.2024 \u2013 Approval of the list of selected candidates (including a pending list);<br>31.05.2024 \u2013 Announcing selected candidates via e-mail.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"Important\"><strong>Important notice<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Only successful candidates will be contacted by e-mail after the selection process is completed.<br>The selected candidates for the Transilvania Academica Scholarship will be subject to the Romanian academic studies admission procedure available at:&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.unitbv.ro\/en\/prospective-students\/admission\/admission-information-for-non-eu-citizens.html\">https:\/\/www.unitbv.ro\/en\/prospective-students\/admission\/admission-information-for-non-eu-citizens.html<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Deadline: 26th April 2024<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Transilvania Academica Scholarship is designed as a competition for international students from non EU or non EEA countries.
