Chris Ngige, the Universities would get <em>N23.5 billion<\/em>, the Polytechnics <em>N6 billion<\/em> and the Colleges of Education <em>N4 billion<\/em>, totalling about <em>N34 billion.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Reacting to the ASUU strike, the Minister said the committees set up during the last tripartite plus meeting of the government and University-based unions were given a fortnight to turn in their report and they are still working on it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Hon. Ngige also assured the public that the reports of the committees were being expected this weekend.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He said, <em>\u201cThose committees are working. The one on NITDA is testing the three platforms, the government\u2019s Integrated Personnel and Payroll Information System (IPPIS), the ASUU University Transparency Accountability Solution (UTAS) and the Universities Peculiar Personnel Payroll System (U3PS) of the non-teaching staff.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>\u201cThey started the testing last Thursday. The National Salaries, Wages and Incomes Commission (NSWIC) has issued their amendment circulars.
