The National Universities Commission (NUC) has accredited !4 Programmes in the University of Abuja. The <\/b>accreditation <\/b><\/span>exercise of some academic programmes of the University<\/strong><\/strong> was said to be carried out in October\/November 2021. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to reports, the 14 courses in the University including MBBS, accounting and veterinary medicine, got full accreditation. Six courses had interim accreditation, but Banking and Finance was denied full accreditation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Below are the courses with full accreditation are:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Arabic studies<\/li>
  2. History<\/li>
  3. Theatre Arts<\/li>
  4. Educational administration and planning<\/li>
  5. Education history<\/li>
  6. Education physics<\/li>
  7. Library and Information science<\/li>
  8. Primary education studies<\/li>
  9. Social studies<\/li>
  10. Accounting<\/li>
  11. Business administration<\/li>
  12. MBBS<\/li>
  13. Sociology<\/li>
  14. Veterinary Medicine<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    Those with Interim accreditation are: <\/p>\n\n\n\n

    1. Christian Religious Studies<\/li>
    2. English Language<\/li>
    3. Islamic Religious Studies<\/li>
    4. Linguistics<\/li>
    5. Philosophy<\/li>
    6. Computer Science<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n
