{"id":21506,"date":"2024-05-23T10:20:05","date_gmt":"2024-05-23T10:20:05","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/presspay.ng\/news\/?p=21506"},"modified":"2024-05-23T10:20:13","modified_gmt":"2024-05-23T10:20:13","slug":"2024-dash-scholarship-at-the-university-of-ghana-fully-funded","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/presspay.ng\/news\/2024-dash-scholarship-at-the-university-of-ghana-fully-funded\/","title":{"rendered":"2024 Dash Scholarship at the University of Ghana (Fully Funded)"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The University of Ghana is offering the 2024 Dash Scholarships to eligible candidates for postgraduate (Master\u2019s and PhD) studies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Dash Scholarship at University of Ghana is fully funded inclusive of the costs of tuition, on-campus accommodation, living expenses, and the costs of research, seminars, and publication.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Eligibility Criteria:<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>be a Ghanaian.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>be willing to pursue a full-time study.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>be able to conduct statistical analysis of data independently.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>be willing to work in a multidisciplinary team.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>meet the University of Ghana\u2019s admission requirements for postgraduate studies.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>be able to work both independently and collaboratively, including undertaking fieldwork in challenging settings.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Evidence of previous publication experience) will be an added advantage (PhD applicants.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Individuals under the age of 40 years are encouraged to apply.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Females are strongly encouraged to apply.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Benefits<\/strong>:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Full tuition fees.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Cost of research towards dissertation\/thesis.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Cost of on-campus accommodation.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Monthly stipend to support living expenses (PhD).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Conferences and workshops attendance (PhD).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Required Documents<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Application Form<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A one-page cover letter.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Full curriculum Vitae (CV) highlighting statistical analysis skills and research experience (if any).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Personal statement (1 page for master\u2019s and 2 pages for PhD applicants), indicating your suitability for a scholarship.
