{"id":2168,"date":"2022-05-26T16:28:22","date_gmt":"2022-05-26T16:28:22","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/presspay.ng\/news\/?p=2168"},"modified":"2022-05-26T16:28:25","modified_gmt":"2022-05-26T16:28:25","slug":"jamb-issues-out-important-statistics-on-2022-utme","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/presspay.ng\/news\/jamb-issues-out-important-statistics-on-2022-utme\/","title":{"rendered":"JAMB Issues Out Important Statistics on 2022 UTME."},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>JAMB has provided some important statistics\u00a0regarding the just concluded 2022 UTME.\u00a0\u00a0According to the information made available via the boards official twitter handle,\u00a0<strong><em>1,761,338<\/em><\/strong> candidates registered for the exam out of which <strong><em>1,707,626<\/em><\/strong> sat for the exam.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The information further\u00a0revealed that the results of <strong><em>1,671,203<\/em><\/strong> candidates have so far been released.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The results of <strong><em>27,105 <\/em><\/strong>are said to be\u00a0undergoing\u00a0further\u00a0screening while that of 69 candidates have been withheld.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>About <strong><em>1,783<\/em><\/strong> candidates were said to have been affected by biometric issues and other technical irregularities and\u00a0were not able to take the exam. According to JAMB, such candidates will be rescheduled to take the exam at a future date.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"700\" height=\"435\" src=\"https:\/\/presspay.ng\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/05\/JAMB.gif\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-2169\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>At the moment, there is no update from the board regarding the opening of online portal for candidates to check their results.
